Toundra Voyages has always worked for a tourism of quality and through several years now, has undertaken informal action to contribute to better travel practices. In 2019, the receptive agency decided to adopt a real internal policy to structure and centralize its actions by creating its first Green Committee.
For its first year, the Green Committee surrounded itself with partners becoming the first tourism company to commit to the 2016-2020 Sustainable Montreal Plan.
More than internal unifying projects, Toundra is also involved in its travel offer. Toundra has created a major survey for all its suppliers that allow to clearly identify some eco-responsible criteria.
Toundra is also committed to carbon offsetting its business travel with a local partner who plants trees in Canada’s boreal forest and funds climate change research.
